Senior Delivery Consultant: Agentic Software Engineer, AWS Professional Services

Are you a senior full-stack engineer who enjoys learning and solving challenging problems? Would you like to do this using the latest cloud computing, GenAI, and agentic technologies? We are seeking a Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of customer-facing consulting experience leading, designing and implementing software solutions with strong foundations in system design - Experience with application modernisation patterns and strategies, including refactoring and re-platforming techniques - Experience with one or more modern relational or NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, DynamoDB), including data modelling and query optimisation - Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and microservices patterns at scale - Experience with AWS technologies, including designing, deploying, and operating cloud-native solutions Preferred: - Strong background in API design and implementation (e.g. REST, GraphQL, gRPC), including working with identity protocols such as OIDC, OAuth 2.0 - Knowledge of vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation, embedding pipelines - Understanding of AI agent architectures, development patterns, protocols (e.g. MCP, A2A) and multi-agent systems - Strong proficiency in DevOps and observability tools (e.g. GitLab CI, OpenTelemetry, Grafana) with focus on operational excellence - Experience with one or more modern front-end frameworks (e.g. React, Vue, Angular), including component-based architecture and state management Acknowledgement of country: In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
