Senior Category Manager, Power and Utilities, Global Procurement Organization (GPO)

We are the Global Procurement Organization, and we're building the team that will define how one of the world's largest companies generates, stores, and consumes clean energy. We're looking for a senior Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience - 5+ years of team management experience - 5+ years of cross functional project delivery experience - 2+ years of supply chain experience - Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements - Bachelor's degree - 5+ years of relevant strategic sourcing including vendor negotiations, global contract management, process improvement, operational and financial analysis experience Preferred: - Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership - MBA, or 4+ years of solving problems with technology in the Energy & Utilities industries experience - Direct experience in energy infrastructure, power systems, distributed energy, or onsite generation procurement (solar, generators, microgrids, BESS, fuel cells) - Experience negotiating complex multi-year CapEx or Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS/PPA) agreements for infrastructure or equipment - Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (interconnection processes, permitting, emissions compliance) and their impact on power infrastructure deployment timelines Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
