Program Security Officer, Amazon Leo for Government (ALG)

The Amazon Leo for Government (ALG) Industrial Security team designs, builds, and implements security assurance and compliance programs in line with formal National Industrial Security Program (NISP) requirements Basic qualifications: - Current, active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance - 5+ years of progressive experience designing, building, or implementing security assurance and compliance programs in line with national industrial security program requirements and government directives (e.g., DoD, IC) - Demonstrated expertise with the NISPOM (32 CFR Part 117) as a widely adopted government security compliance regime - Hands-on experience with governance, risk, and compliance functions including clearance/eligibility lifecycle management (DISS, NBIS) - Experience scoping, negotiating, or executing government security audits/assessments (e.g., DCSA security reviews, vulnerability assessments) - Experience at systems integrators, industrial security companies, and/or government agencies Preferred: - Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security, Law Enforcement, Business Management, Accounting or related fields - Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) or Security Asset Protection Professional Certification (SAPPC) — CDSE / DoD SPēD - Industrial Security Professional (ISP) — NCMS - Physical Security Certification (PSC) — CDSE / DoD SPēD - Insider Threat Program certification (CDSE) - Experience managing secure facility construction projects meeting ICD 705 standards - Experience serving as a COMSEC Custodian or Alternate - Participation in external industry groups or initiatives on security assurance and compliance (e.g., advisory boards, working groups) Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
