Program Manager - Global Network Delivery (BaND), Global Network Delivery

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers Basic qualifications: - 3+ years of program or project management experience - Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams - Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements - Experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, or experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions - Experience making strategic business decisions and managing internal relationships, or experience in identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes - 7+ years of program or project management experience, or a Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience - Experience in data center, networking engineering, systems engineering or construction management with a good understanding of data center technologies such as power, cooling and controls systems - Experience in project management including resource planning, managing schedules, reporting project status and prioritizing own tasks and those of other team members for multiple projects Preferred: - Bachelor's degree, or 4+ years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience - Experience driving improvement programs in the operations, engineering and support fields - Experience working with stakeholders, or experience troubleshooting problems and offering solutions to streamline complex challenges - Experience with Six Sigma tools and Lean techniques, or experience in planning, scheduling and auditing maintenance activities - Experience with web services and related technologies - Experience in creating and managing complex, cross-team project plans - PMP certificate, or 3+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies, including, but not limited to, AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning), GenAI (Generative AI), Analytics, Database, and/or Storage experience Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
