AWS Global Sales drives adoption of the AWS cloud worldwide, enabling customers of all sizes to innovate and expand in the cloud. Our team empowers every customer to grow by providing tailored service, Basic qualifications: - 7+ years of technical specialist, design and architecture experience - 3+ years of cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating system experience - Experience in influencing C-level leadership, business and technical stakeholders, and peer groups, while driving enterprise-scale portfolios or programs in large organizations - Prior experience working with public sector customers, preferably in the Natsec, Federal and Defence sector. Preferred: - Advanced technology degree or AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) - Deep understanding of AWS services across compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies - Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences as part of pre-sales motion - Proven experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies required, commensurate modern certifications AWS, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, etc. Acknowledgement of country: In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
