Employ customer facing skills to represent AWS well within the customer’s Basic qualifications: A Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline and 6 years of experience as a database administrator or related occupation. In the alternative, a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline followed by 8 progressively responsible, post baccalaureate years of experience as a database administrator or related occupation. Experience must include: (1) 6 years of experience with Oracle, SQL Server, or other commercial/open source database platforms (2) 6 years of experience with migrating mission critical database environments from one platform to another (3) 6 years of experience with working with high availability, disaster recovery and server tuning strategies including parameters, resources, and contention (4) 6 years of experience with Shell, Perl, or Python Scripting #0000 Preferred: All applicants must meet all the above listed requirements.
