Principal ProServe Cloud Architect, AWS Strategic Accounts

AWS Professional Services (ProServe) is seeking a ProServe Cloud Architect (PCA) specializing in the Strategic Accounts - Software and High Technology vertical. You will engage directly with Hardware and Basic qualifications: - 8+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or a related field - Experience managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects - Experience with IT compliance and risk management requirements (e.g. security, privacy, SOX, HIPAA etc.) - Experience with software development life cycle (sdlc) and agile/iterative methodologies Preferred: - Knowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape - Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies - Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR - Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments - Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (like TOGAF, Zachman) and identifying the relationships between business services, information, applications and global infrastructure assets - Experience with enterprise systems including SAP, Oracle, and custom applications Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
