Principal Professional Services Sales Executive, AWS Professional Services Energy

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a dynamic ProServe Account Executive (PAE) to join our team focused on the Energy industry at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this Basic qualifications: - Experience working with, presenting to, and negotiating with C-level executives, IT, lines of business, procurement, finance, legal and internal stakeholders for sizeable commercial/enterprise deals - Experience managing executive customer relationships and key business stakeholders - 10+ years of quota-carrying professional services sales or strategic account management roles. - Proven track record of selling cloud solutions within the energy sector including cloud adoption, AI/ML, Generative and / or Agentic AI, modernisation and automation, supply chain transformation, etc. - Proven track record of expanding influence and driving results. Preferred: - Experience in written and oral communication, including the ability to communicate with all levels in the organization (technical, business, executive) - Knowledge of AWS services - Experience leading cross-functional projects and implementing strategic initiatives - Experience in winning and retaining clients and establishing relationships with partners - Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills - Deep knowledge of energy industry trends - Broad Energy value chain knowledge and able to dive deep with customers in one or more specific domains including E&P, refining / petrochemicals, hydrocarbon or MRO supply chains, traditional and renewable utilities, trading. - Multi-lingual with English plus another language.
