Operations Supervisor (Process Assistant), Outbound - Day Shift

We’re seeking for an experienced Process Assistant to join the team at our Fulfillment Center in Dandenong on a Sunday to Wednesday day shift.The Process Assistant will support the Area Manager, and will Basic qualifications: - Previous experience leading teams - Experience working within a similar field (manufacturing/distribution/warehousing/large retail) - Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to coach, train and assist team members - Availability to work 38 hours+/week, and overtime as required - Experience working with computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) Preferred: - Leadership experience directly managing others - Comfortable in lifting up to 16 kilos, stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach, all with or without reasonable accommodation - Experience with performance metrics and lean process improvement Acknowledgement of country: In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
