Onsite Medical Representative

WHS sets the strategic direction to provide resources, best practices, and safe environments Basic qualifications: - High school or equivalent diploma - CPR course - Valid card evidencing successful completion of a first aid, CPR, and AED course from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross, or willingness to obtain it within four weeks of employment - Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications - Ontario: - • High School or equivalent diploma; AND - • Must have a valid card evidencing successful completion of standard first aid with CPR/AED level A or C from a Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) approved certifying authority; AND - • Must have one of the following: - o Valid Provincial Primary Care Paramedic (PCP) Certification from the Ministry of Health AND/OR the Canadian Organization of Paramedic Regulators; OR - o Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) from the Ministry of Health AND/OR the Provincial College of Nurses AND/OR Department of Health. Preferred: - Experience with workers' compensation - Experience and certification in teaching first-aid, CPR and AED - Preferred Qualifications: - • Job experience as a Military Medic (Canadian Armed Forces) - • Certified to teach first aid, CPR, and AED training from the Canadian Red Cross - • Proficient in Microsoft Office - • Experience with an industrial wellness program - • Experience managing musculoskeletal disorders, ergonomics, and coaching on body mechanics - • Demonstrated work experience with OSHA regulations and Workers Compensation - • Proficient in digital recordkeeping Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
