New Technology Introduction Automation Controls Engineer , Global Central Reliability Team

Be the person who brings new automation to life. As an Automation Controls Engineer within the New Technology Introduction (NTI) team, you will be the primary controls subject matter expert for emerging Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related fields - 3+ years of experience with PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms) - 3+ years of automation controls engineering experience in manufacturing, logistics, automation, or industrial environments - Experience designing and implementing control systems for complex automated equipment - Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams and coordinating with engineering and operations Preferred: - 5+ years of working directly with engineering teams on technology development or integration projects. - Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant controls certifications (Rockwell, Siemens, etc.). - Experience in some or all of the following areas: Automated conveyor systems or controls, robotics control systems, industrial networking (EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus), HMI/SCADA development, motion control systems, servo drives and VFDs, electrical and electronic principles, blueprint and electrical schematic reading, control panel design, industrial electrical, industrial controls, industrial electronics, industrial PC literacy, N.E.C. - Experience introducing new and experimental robotic assets to operational environments. - Technical understanding of: robotics system components/controls, HMI components, control network components, motion control, fieldbus protocols, safety-rated control systems, and standard electrical components. - • Understanding of: 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC, and 24VDC systems and associated control requirements.
