Network Infrastructure Deployment Manager, Infra Networking

The AWS Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field - Experience with fiber optic and copper cabling standards, testing equipment & troubleshooting methodologies - Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience working with customers with a passion for delivering exceptional service - Knowledge of software development practices and data center/infrastructure/networking technologies - 5+ years of technical infrastructure management experience, including network construction management and/or program management in a telecom environment - Strong technical understanding of transport technologies (Fiber, DWDM, etc.) and data center/infrastructure/networking technologies Preferred: - 5+ years of network engineering and deployments for large-scale networks in a corporate environment, including hands-on physical infrastructure installations, hardware integration, racking, and cabling experience - Experience communicating to a diverse, global audience - Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification with experience leading multiple large network construction programs - Familiarity with GIS platforms, quality assurance processes, and strong knowledge of long-haul transmission systems and regional construction standards - Experience working in a fast-paced, international environment with strong contacts in fiber, transport, and infrastructure markets Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
