Network Development Manager, Network Core

Amazon's network is a key differentiator for Amazon Cloud Computing and Web Services (AWS), enabling the global operation of thousands of applications across hundreds of thousands of servers worldwide. Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field - Experience with network operations either as a manager or individual contributor - Experience in a network engineering role and network management role, including managing and developing a team with responsibility for network operations - Excellent understanding of networking technologies, network management tools and network engineering practices Preferred: - Experience engaging, verbally and in writing, with internal and external stakeholders to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise manner - Experience coordinating between technical teams, peers and business stakeholders - Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems - Experience developing operational processes and technologies - A proven track record of success in delivering complex projects, including coordinating and driving issues to resolution autonomously utilizing excellent project management skills. - Experience managing on-call support coverage, and participation in escalation and critical issue management Acknowledgement of country: In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
