Network Development Engineer , Wireless and Access Networks, Network Access Technologies

You'll design and deploy next-generation Basic qualifications: - Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals and extensive experience in the application of IP protocols - Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience in a large–scale network environment - 1+ years’ experience in a network focused hands-on technical role working with IP routing protocols/technologies and platforms in large scale data center and/or WAN network environments. - 1+ years Unix/Linux command line experience and ability to script in Python, bash, shell, perl, Go C or C++, etc Preferred: - CCNA or equivalent level networking certification - Knowledge of network hardware and packet forwarding architectures - Experience working with customers to diagnose a problem and work towards resolution - Thorough understanding of TCP/IP networking, IP routing, Server Load Balancing, and Network Security architecture and core technologies such as IP, TCP, OSPF/IS-IS, BGP, MPLS, Server Load Balancers, Firewalls, ACLs, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, LDAP, NFS, etc. - Knowledge of network analysis fundamentals and robust troubleshooting skills; specifically, network performance analysis Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
