Network Development Engineer I, Operations Network Engineering Core

If yes, please keep reading...The Operation Networking Engineering ONE- Core team builds next-generation Basic qualifications: - 2+ years experience in a network focused hands-on technical role working with IP routing protocols/technologies and experience designing and operating large-scale production networks - 2+ or more years of experience with major routing protocols, specifically BGP and OSPF - 2+ or more years of experience with routing and switching hardware from major vendors including Cisco and Juniper - Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and operate network solutions that are secure, stable, testable, and maintainable - Strong documentation skills with proven methodology for creating clear technical documentation - Experience building or enhancing tools, developing best practices, refining operational procedures, and thinking proactively with innovation - 2+ years experience in a technical on-call capacity, responding to customer impacting events, mitigating and root cause analysis of those events. - 1+ years of experience in automation via Bash/shell scripting and Perl/Python programming. Preferred: - 1+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell and/or Perl experience - 2+ years of major internet routing protocols experience - 2+ years of hands on experience in working on Linux/Unix - A Masters in Computer Science, MBA, or equivalent experience. - Senior Engineer experience at other organizations. - Expert-level certifications (e.g. CCIE, JNCIE) a plus. - Scripting and or automation skills in a network environment. - Software development/programming skills are a plus.
