Mechanical Integration Leader, OMHS

Amazon is seeking a Mechanical Integration Lead to drive the successful installation, integration, and deployment of material handling equipment (MHE) across multiple greenfield and brownfield fulfillment Basic qualifications: - Experience in engineering including a supervisory role managing people - Experience in a fast-paced, automated, industrial, logistics, production or manufacturing environment - 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering, operations engineering, manufacturing engineering, or project engineering in a manufacturing or construction environment - Experience in a supervisory role managing installation crews, maintenance technicians, or tradespeople - Experience with the project management of technical projects in fast-paced, automated industrial environments - Experience delivering technical projects in active construction environments - Ability to travel up to 50% domestically; travel may exceed 50% in some instances with short notice - Ability to read and understand installation drawings Preferred: - Prior experience managing millwrights, maintenance technicians, fabricators, ironworkers, riggers, pipefitters, or aircraft mechanics - Prior experience working for a material handling integrator - Prior experience installing conveyor or sortation systems - Experience with rigging, crane operations, and heavy equipment placement - Experience with structural steel installation and load verification - Knowledge of AutoCAD, BIM 360, or equivalent CAD software - Experience working with and managing third-party vendors and subcontractors - Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement methodologies - Experience with pneumatic systems installation and testing - PMP or other project management certification Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
