Manufacturing Integration Specialist, Amazon LEO

Leo is Amazon's initiative to launch a constellation of low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites to provide broadband connectivity globally. We are seeking a Manufacturing Integration Specialist to join our OISL Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Science - 4+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience - Experience in CAD skills, including being capable of developing an integrated automation layout unassisted - Knowledge of agile product development and life-cycle management process - Experience participating in engineering change processes and validating production readiness of design changes - Familiarity with GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis, and design for manufacturability - Mechanically inclined with strong shop-floor presence and hands-on problem-solving ability Preferred: - Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules - 5+ years of hardware development, test lab, space/aerospace maintenance or hands-on engineering environment experience - Experience in quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance), or experience with process improvement, Kaizan, and Six Sigma - Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles / Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent - Experience with automated or semi-automated assembly equipment (e.g., robotics, vision alignment systems) - Experience with PLM/PDM systems (e.g., Teamcenter, Windchill) and MES/ERP systems - Understanding of cleanroom protocols and precision metrology - Fixture and poka-yoke design portfolio - Hands-on experience with optical assembly, alignment fixtures, or precision mechanical Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
