Manufacturing Engineer – Space Hardware, Amazon Leo

Amazon Leo is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Manufacturing/Mechanical/Aerospace/Industrial/Electrical) or related discipline, or equivalent experience. - 1+ year experience with integrating, testing and troubleshooting mechanical and electronic systems - 1+ year experience with Computer Aided Design tools such as Solidworks or NX/Unigraphics Preferred: - Related experience from internships or college organizations- Technical writing experience, including work instructions, standard operating procedures and/or test plans. - Experienced with various automated manufacturing processes, including assembly and test methods at component level, subsystem, and system level. - Experienced with handling and tracking systems for continuous material flow to manufacturing lines. - Familiar with QTP/ATP, functional testing, and/or environmental testing such as thermal, acoustic, or vibe. - Experience supporting both Development and Production programs - Formal training/certification in Operational Excellence Systems (Lean, 5S, Six Sigma, etc.) a plus. - Strong organizational, analytical, root cause analysis and problem solving skills. - Excellent communication and leadership skills. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
