Manager – VAT Risk & Assurance, Amazon Tax Advisory & Planning Team

The Manager – VAT Risk & Assurance will support the Senior Manager in reviewing, validating, and embedding VAT risk controls across business operations. This role combines VAT advisory expertise with operational Basic qualifications: - Extensive experience in VAT advisory or assurance, ideally from top-tier consulting/advisory firms (Big 4 or equivalent) or in large, highly regulated corporate environments. - Strong technical knowledge of VAT legislation, with a track record of providing practical, business-focused advice to upport operational and strategic decision-making. - Exposure to assurance, control frameworks, or operational risk management, enabling effective review and validation of testing, evidence, and controls. - Experience operating in multi-jurisdictional environments, large organisations, or commercial marketplaces with complex VAT obligations - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Preferred: - Recognized professional tax qualification, chartered accountant, or relevant legal degree. - VAT advisory and risk management expertise: Professionals with extensive experience in VAT advisory and risk management, focused on identifying, managing, and mitigating VAT exposure within complex operational environments.
