Manager - Supply Chain and Procurement, Custom Silicon

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a strong people leader to build and manage the supply chain and procurement team responsible for a custom silicon portfolio. This team identifies, develops, and integrates Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field - 3+ years of people management and team development experience - Experience managing and negotiating contracts and vendor relationships - Experience producing executive-level written materials and presenting to executive audiences - 7+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, commodity management, or a related function. Preferred: - 5+ years of negotiations/cost savings, supplier excellence, and risk mitigation experience - MBA, or Advanced degree - Experience with analytical tools and ability to dive deep into metrics and reporting - Experience in a hardware, semiconductor, or electronics supply chain, ideally sourcing custom silicon or complex components (ASIC/SoC, FPGA/CPLD, PCIe switches, BMCs, or similar). - Familiarity with silicon supply chains and market — foundry, substrate, OSAT/assembly vendors - Experience supporting in-house/custom silicon programs from design engagement through volume production and end-of-life. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
