Manager III, VBC Performance , Medicare Population Health Programs

Amazon Health Services is seeking a Manager, Business Analysis to lead our VBC performance operations analytics team within Medicare Population Health Programs. This leader will own the business reporting Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of business analyst, data analyst or an equivalent role experience - 3+ years of direct management experience - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or a related field - Experience in management directly - Experience in a business analyst, data analyst or equivalent role - Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation of results Preferred: - Master's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (i.e. SQL, MS Power Query, Python) - Experience with Cloud platforms (preferably AWS), database systems (SQL and NoSQL), AI tools for development productivity, contributing to open-source projects, and/or version control systems - Experience delivering complex, data-driven recommendations to senior leaders - - Deep knowledge of value-based care economics including risk adjustment (HCC/RAF), medical claims expense analysis, and PMPM financial modeling - - Experience with Medicare Advantage or ACO financial models, including MCER, MLR, and cohort-level P&L analysis - - Experience building membership forecasting models that account for seasonality, tenure effects, and market dynamics - - MBA, MPH, or advanced degree in a relevant quantitative field Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
