Leo is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related technical field - Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment - 3+ years of team management experience - 7+ years of supply chain, forecasting, manufacturing, sourcing/procurement, or vendor management experience - Travel up to 30% of the time - 5+ years of relevant strategic sourcing and category management in Propulsion, Optics, or Solar sub-systems. - Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and program management teams on hardware programs Preferred: - Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field - Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP, ORACLE, Coupa) in large organizations - Experience managing supplier relationships in aerospace, satellite, or regulated hardware manufacturing environments - Experience with DFM, RCCA, and supplier quality processes in a hardware production environment - Experience with should-cost modeling, total cost of ownership analysis, and competitive bidding strategies - Track record of managing technology transitions and qualifying new suppliers for complex hardware components Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
