Manager Data & Core Specialists Solutions Architects (SSAs), Specialists Team Germany, Switzerland and CEE

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced people leader to manage a team of Specialist Solutions Architects (SSAs) focused on **Data and Core Services** (e.g., Databases, Analytics, Storage, Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree - Experience leading and growing teams of senior technology professionals, ideally in customer facing roles - Deep experience managing a technical team of solutions architects, sales engineers, or equivalent technical customer-facing roles. - Experience architecting and operating solutions on AWS or a comparable cloud platform (Azure, GCP). - Demonstrated experience leading geographically distributed / international teams. - Experience conveying complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences - Deep experience in leading in a highly matrix organization, especially working in alignment with Sales teams Preferred: - Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud - Experience writing and publishing technical documents or equivalent - Experience with data migration, modernization, and large-scale transformation programs. - Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud - Experience writing and publishing technical documents or equivalent - Knowledge of cloud technology partner ecosystem and related products - Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent - Experience with migration, modernization, and large-scale transformation programs.
