Manager, Audible Books Content Acquisition EU - 24-Month Contract

Basic qualifications: - Professional experience and proven success in a book publishing, literary agency, content licensing, media rights, business development, or digital media department/company - Experience negotiating complex agreements with a solid understanding of legal and contractual terminology - Experience in both traditional publishing and digital content ecosystems - Experience with contract management, data analysis, and productivity tools - Business fluency in English and either Italian or French. Proficiency in additional European languages is a strong asset. - Established network in the French and/or Italian book publishing industry, particularly with authors and literary agencies Preferred: - Broader network in the international book publishing industry and experience working across multiple EU marketplaces simultaneously - Experience in the audio space, directly acquiring or selling audio rights and familiarity with audiobook production workflows - Resourceful self-starter with an independent attitude and focus on excellence - Genuine enthusiasm for audio storytelling, books, and the evolving audio entertainment landscape - Strong aptitude to use emerging technologies and data analysis and project management tools - Proven organizational, analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills - Ability to operate in a high-energy, high-intensity and rapidly evolving environment Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
