Liaison Engineer, 1st Shift, Amazon Leo

From individual households to Basic qualifications: - 3+ years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent - 3+ years of demonstrated experience in a Liaison Engineer / Material Review Board (MRB) role with aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicle structures Preferred: - Experience in the design of complex mechanical products and equipment at volume - Strong fundamentals in engineering fundamentals (statics, dynamics, modal, frequency response, random vibration, sine and acoustic analyses/tests) - Experience with fatigue and fracture analyses - Knowledge of or experience with spacecraft technology and related primary, secondary and tertiary structures - Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution System (MES) - Strong understanding or Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing - Strong understanding of ANSI Y14.5M-1994 (drawing interpretation) - Experience with Siemens Products (Teamcenter, NX, NX Nastran) Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
