Language Producer - German, Originals Localization, Originals Localization

The Language Producer, German (LPGER) is responsible for ensuring Amazon MGM Studios Originals content maintains its creative vision and quality when localized into German, with dubbed and subtitled versions Basic qualifications: - Speak, write, and read fluently in German - Experience analyzing metrics to implement business improvements. Localization Creative services or global studio/post-production. - Deep expertise & strong connections in German dubbing markets. - Experience formulating strategies to streamline systems, translating vision into actionable plans. - Experience directing freelance workers and developing creative teams. - Familiarity with local audience localization preferences and regulations. - Direct experience with global distributed teams. - Experience with 3P post vendors & episodic/feature content technical workflows. - Understanding of post-production and international day-and-date delivery. Understanding of, interest in exploring AI/ML technologies to augment in-person work options. Preferred: - Detail oriented with excellent and proactive organizational skills. - Advanced written and oral communication skills. - Professional working knowledge and established relationships with local dubbing studios, translators, adaptors, directors, creative talent, and associations. Understanding of story structure and character development as it relates to their local language customer. Competency across wide array of media asset types and digital transport mechanisms. - Exceptional analytical skills to ensure projects meet established quality standards and customer expectations within budgetary and approved rate constraints. - Operational workflow awareness and understanding of links between post-production and international distribution.
