Kernel/Hypervisor Engineer, EC2 Core Compute

EC2 Core Compute is looking for an experienced Kernel & Hypervisor Engineer for one of our virtualization organizations. As part of the team, you will be given the chance to have a significant impact on Basic qualifications: - BSc in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent work experience - Professional experience working on the Linux Kernel - Professional experience in C programming - Proficient in at least one CPU architecture such as x86 or ARM - Understanding of operating system internals Preferred: - Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field - Extensive professional experience working on the Linux Kernel - Extensive professional experience in C programming - Professional experience working on a hypervisor, such as kvm, xen or hyper-v - Solid understanding of performance-critical areas of the Linux Kernel Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
