Infrastructure Deployment Engineer, OID , OID

We are looking to hire a highly motivated, best-in-class Infrastructure Deployment Engineer II to join our growing team within Corporate Infrastructure Services. This role serves as a Subject Matter Expert Basic qualifications: - BS in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience, coupled with certifications such as CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent demonstrated practical expertise + industry experience. - 5+ years of experience as a network engineer with hands-on deployment and design of large-scale enterprise networks, including complex infrastructure installations, hardware integration, and advanced network configurations. - 5+ years' experience with advanced routing protocols (BGP, MPLS) and network design principles across multiple infrastructure domains (networking, storage, server, OS platforms). - Demonstrated ability to solve complex, undefined problems independently and act as a technical escalation point for peers. - 3+ years' experience developing implementation standards, influencing technical decisions across teams, and producing reference-quality technical documentation. Preferred: - 5+ years' hands-on experience with Cisco routers, switches, and firewalls, including advanced configuration and troubleshooting across multiple domains. - Experience designing and implementing complex network solutions that address multi-faceted challenges across enterprise environments. - Experience working with data centers and telecom carriers to procure, deliver, and activate network circuits at scale. - Experience administering, deploying, or supporting Cisco or Aruba wireless network equipment in large-scale enterprise environments. - Demonstrated track record of influencing technical decisions through data-driven analysis, acting as a recognized SME in specific network domains. - Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical guidance across teams. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
