HW Engineering Manager, Leo Hardware Development

Amazon LEO is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field - 7+ years of industrial experience especially in board level analog/digital design with large ASIC’s - 3+ years of experience in a technical leading role and a management position - 5+ years of experience in high-speed digital design, multi-gigabit SERDES, signal and power integrity - 5+ years of experience using lab equipment, including oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and multi-meters - Experience with advanced CAD tools Preferred: - Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field - Experience with developing hardware for space applications - Experience with the entire NPI process - Familiarity with analog electronic fundamentals (transistor circuits, op-amps, filters, etc) - Experience in design, implementation, bring up and debugging of HW from prototypes to manufacturing - Familiarity with power supply design Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
