Food Service Design Manager, Design, Sustainability & Engineering

Amazon's Global Real Estate & Facilities (GREF) Workplace Design & Construction team is seeking an experienced Designer to support the design and delivery of food service and food & beverage (F&B) amenity Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or experience as technical specialist in design and architecture - Experience in facilities management, office management, corporate administrative services, or hospitality management - Experience using one or more of the following CAD technologies: AutoCAD, Rhino, Revit, SolidWorks, CREO, BIM360, SketchUp or KeyShot - Experience reading and editing construction documents (design drawings, control diagrams, specifications, etc.) - Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams - Experience communicating complex ideas to technical and non-technical audiences Preferred: - Experience applying local codes, National Mechanical Association (NFPA) standards, International Code Council (ICC) requirements, and other mechanical industry standards, procedures, and methodologies - Experience leading design teams in problem definition, artifact rendering, cross-functional collaboration and delivery, and user validation and measurement - Experience in project management or as a project lead including RFQ/RFP process, selecting engineering teams, developing budgets, coordinating multiple consultant teams and facilitating meetings - Familiarity with ADA/ DDA compliance requirements as applied to food service and amenity environments - Knowledge of casework design, millwork specifications, and FF&E procurement processes Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
