EMEA DCCD Business Manager

As the Business Manager for EMEA Business & Project Controls, you will own the operating rhythm and core business mechanisms that enable the function and wider EMEA DCCD organisation to operate efficiently, Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field - Experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions, evaluate outcomes, and make data-driven decisions - Experience in verbal and written communication for executive level leaders - Experience managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously and driving goals to completion - Experience in written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to executives and non-technical leaders - • 7+ years of experience in business operations, program management, construction, infrastructure, engineering or a related environment. - • 5+ years managing business operations, programme governance or similar organisational mechanisms for a complex, multi-stakeholder organisation. - • Experience establishing and operating governance and business-review mechanisms (e.g. WBRs, MBRs, quarterly reviews). Preferred: - Knowledge of critical data center equipment - • Experience within Amazon, AWS or another hyperscale infrastructure organisation - ideally in data centers, construction, critical infrastructure or large-scale capital delivery. - • Background in Business Operations, PMO, Project Controls, Program Management or a Chief of Staff-type environment. - • Experience establishing rhythms of business, managing goals/strategic initiatives, and coordinating organisational portfolios. - • Familiarity with Amazon people mechanisms (OLR, promotion pipelines, workforce-planning cycles) and headcount planning. - • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to support assumptions, recommendations and decisions. - • Experience operating across multiple countries or regions with high attention to detail while maintaining strategic perspective. - • Experience driving continuous improvement or organisational transformation. - • Familiarity with construction programme reporting, portfolio governance, financial governance or Project Controls is advantageous.
