Electrical Hardware Development Engineer, One MHS

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Electrical Hardware Engineer to help develop the next generation of robotics, automation, and material handling systems for Amazon's operations. Our team Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent - 3+ years of experience developing electrical hardware for automation, robotics, material handling, or similarly complex electromechanical systems - Experience developing electrical schematics using ECAD platforms such as EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar - Experience with 3-phase, single-phase, and DC power distribution - Hands-on experience building, testing, and troubleshooting industrial electrical hardware - Experience applying industrial electrical standards such as UL 508A, NFPA 79, NEC, IEC 60204-1, or IEC 81346 - Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally Preferred: - Experience specifying and qualifying industrial electrical components, and establishing preferred-parts or approved-vendor standards - Experience owning hardware reliability, including FMEA, accelerated life testing, and field failure analysis - Experience developing power conversion, motor drive, or power supply hardware - Experience developing test setups and using Python scripting, SQL, and data analysis to support hardware development and validation - Experience using 3D CAD and PLM systems for design, configuration, bills of material, revisions, and engineering changes - Experience with industrial communication networks such as EtherCAT, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, or similar Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
