Electrical Design & Verification Engineer (DVE), Leo Optical ISL Development

Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.The Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent - Experience with EE and test fundamentals - 3+ years of experience in board level design verification for aerospace, automotive, or consumer electronics products; OR 3+ years of experience building test fixtures and complex test systems including integrating test software - 3+ years of experience developing requirements, plans, and procedures for product design verification. - 3+ years of experience in the use of standard electronic lab test equipment (i.e., oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.) - 3+ years of experience with design or test of switching power supplies, electric motors, sensors, and high-speed electrical signal characterization - 3+ years of experience in design verification of high-speed interfaces, signal integrity and protocol compliance Preferred: - Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills - Ability to coordinate between engineering, test lab, and technicians and schedule testing resources - Experience with power supplies, IMUs, FPGAs, sensors, RF, and high-speed electrical signal characterization - Experience with design or test of circuit boards with complex microcontrollers, system-on-chip (SOCs), or FPGAs - Experience with development of automated test systems - Experience in reviewing requirements to support various test phases - Experience as the technical lead, leading small groups of other test engineers across multiple designs Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
