Electrical BIM Designer, DC Design Engineering

Are you an electrical designer with telecommunication experience? Are you passionate about BIM? Are you a creative, smart, and driven individual that enjoys working with complex projects within a team Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of design/engineering experience of electrical building systems for mission critical facilities. - 5+ years’ experience using Revit for producing electrical engineering BIM models and construction drawings. - Practical knowledge and understanding of electrical codes (NEC) and safety regulations. - Understanding power distribution and as represented by Single Line diagrams, plans and schedules. - Experience and knowledge applying Lean principles to design modeling and drawing production. - Experience with developing Revit Family content. - Practical knowledge using Autodesk construction cloud as a common Data Environment workflow. Preferred: - Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering. - Experience directly related to Data Center design and construction. - Use of the following software tools: AutoCAD, Navisworks, Bluebeam, Dynamo, RF Tools, CTC Tools. - Aware of how ETAP or SKM electrical modeling software is used. - Familiarity with the BIMForum LOD Specification, plus AIA and NBIMS standards and best practices for BIM collaboration. - Experience in Modular software Acknowledgement of country: In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
