Director, Regional Data Center Operations - Spain, Datacenter Operations

AWS Infrastructure Services seeks an experienced Director to lead the Spain Data Center Operations. Based in Zaragoza, this role will oversee critical infrastructure that powers AWS services. The successful Basic qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field • 5+ years of experience in data center operations, infrastructure management, or related technical field • 5+ years of people management experience leading large, diverse teams • Proven track record of managing complex operational environments at scale • Experience with capacity planning and infrastructure growth management • Strong financial acumen with budget responsibility • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic operational plans • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a global organization Preferred: • Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field • Experience working in European markets with understanding of local regulations and business practices • Knowledge of sustainability practices and environmental compliance in data center operations • Track record of implementing innovative operational improvements and driving efficiency • Experience managing diverse infrastructure types (Colocation, Hybrid, Build-to-Suit) Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
