Director, 3P Marketplace, International Seller Services

This is a general management role with full ownership of the Australian 3P Marketplace. You will lead a cross-functional team spanning account management, program management, and seller operations, owning Basic qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, or equivalent professional experience • Extensive progressive leadership experience, including managing large, multi-layered teams across multiple functions in a high-growth or scaled environment • Hands-on P&L ownership of a large, complex business in online commerce, technology, retail, or marketplace industries, with demonstrated ability to drive sustainable and profitable growth at scale • Demonstrated track record of building and scaling marketplace or e-commerce businesses, with measurable impact on selection growth, revenue, or seller acquisition • Strong analytical skills with experience defining, tracking, and acting on KPIs to drive strategic decision-making • Experience developing and executing multi-year business strategies in fast-paced, ambiguous environments Preferred: • MBA or advanced degree in a relevant field • Experience at Amazon with Retail or 3P marketplace operations (2+ years preferred) • Experience with AI/ML tools and automation strategies to drive operational efficiency at scale • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate multi-layered regional teams while working cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business stakeholders • Experience working in a matrixed, global organization with track record of driving alignment across geographies • Knowledge of the Australian retail and e-commerce landscape, including regulatory and competitive dynamics • Strong verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated experience engaging and influencing senior executives Acknowledgement of country: In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
