Deployment Engineer , Robotics Delivery & Packaging Innovation (RDPI)

Amazon is seeking an experienced business-oriented Deployment Execution Engineerto deliver large-scale and highly complex logistic process automation and storageinitiatives for the continued expansion Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of industrial engineer, operations engineer, manufacturing engineer, or project engineer in a manufacturing environment experience - Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent - Experience in problem solving and delivering results - Experience in English and Japanese language communication skills, both written and verbal - Experience managing competing priorities across a wide range of stakeholders - Knowledge of automation technologies, material handling systems and robotics - Willingness to travel up to 60% of the time within Japan (and occasionally Australia/EU) Preferred: - Knowledge of AutoCAD, VBA, and SQL at the intermediate level - Experience working with and managing third party vendors - Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing - Experience with robotic deployments in warehouse or fulfilment environments - Experience working and managing external contractors and vendors - Background in logistics, supply chain or operations - Project management experience or certification - Experience with Amazon Robotics or similar automation platforms - Deep understanding of warehouse operations, linked systems and fulfilment processes Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
