Delivery Consultant - Security

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Cloud Security Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll work closely with customers Basic qualifications: - 3+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience - Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments - Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field - 3+ years of any combination of the following: application security frameworks, identity and access controls, incident response, mobile security, cloud computing and security, AI security, threat intelligence, and penetration testing experience - 1+ years in automating security operations including scripting and automation to build scalable and secure environments, automating security assessments and remediation workflows, and implementing security policies as code Preferred: - Experience in automation through devops scripting (e.g. shell, python, ruby, powershell) - Experience in communicating technical concepts to a non-technical audience - Knowledge of security and compliance standards including HIPAA and GDPR - AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional, Certified Security Specialty) preferred - Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions (e.g., WAF, IPS, Anti-DDOS, SIEM) Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
