Data Centre Manager, Infrastructure Delivery Operations

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a fast-paced computing technology company and the world's leading cloud infrastructure provider, operating a global network of mission-critical data centers that power innovation Basic qualifications: - 3+ years of relevant work in a data center or other critical environment, or 3+ years of data center engineering or operations experience - Experience in people management and team development - 1+ years of project delivery experience - Experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment, or experience communicating complex information and solutions to senior stakeholders and influencing decisions - Experience in training, performance management and coaching/mentoring Preferred: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, management, or technology, or Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent - Experience in a data center or other critical environment - Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment - Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification - Experience with Continuous Improvement and Six Sigma methodologies - Experience hiring candidates, mentoring and developing employees in their careers - Experience using English communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster seamless interaction with stakeholders at all levels - Experience in similar environments, or experience working with and managing third party vendors Acknowledgement of country: In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
