Data Center Project Manager II, Critical Projects Implementation

We support all AWS data centers Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of construction or project management experience - 5+ years managing projects in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure in an operational space. Comparable critical infrastructure experience is defined as a facility that includes a 24/7 emergency backup system, manufacturing facility (semiconductor, auto, medical equipment or Clean rooms), Mass Transportation (freight or passenger rail), Oil and Gas, Utility, Hospitals or similar industry. - 5+ years experience in on-site construction trades (mechanical, electrical, general) Vendor Management Preferred: - Project Management Professional (PMP) certification - 5+ years in the technical field of power distribution and data center mechanical cooling systems. - BA/BS in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or similar Technical focus. - Demonstrated ability to understand and discuss technical concepts, manage trade-offs, incorporate feedback, and evaluate opportunistic new ideas with a variety of internal and external stakeholders - Significant experience successfully delivering results in a fast paced, dynamic environment. - Can work proactively and independently, meet deadlines, and deliver on projects and tasks Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
