Critical Infrastructure Mechanical Engineer, Field Engineering

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers Basic qualifications: - Experience with the design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission critical facilities, especially data centers - Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering - Willing to travel between Data Center sites, and internationally if required - This role requires you to be a national of an EU member state. Preferred: - Experience with building codes and regulations for your region - Experience carrying design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production - Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents - Knowledge of mechanical systems in critical Data Center operations including but not limited to CRAC/CRAHs/AHUs, chillers, cooling towers, storage tanks, chemical systems, heat exchangers, piping systems, pumps, valves, duct systems, fans, or dampers - Business-level fluency in German (written and spoken) Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
