Corporate Counsel - Compliance & Safety, WW Ops

Amazon’s Legal Department is looking for a talented Corporate Counsel to support its rapidly growing and evolving operations businesses in India. Amazon offers its in-house lawyers the opportunity to develop Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Law - Ability to work with limited direction, exercise sound judgment, and manage discrete compliance matters as a single-threaded owner - Bachelor's degree in Law - 6+ years of Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) Law experience; with 8-12 years of inhouse legal or law firm experience Preferred: - Experience managing multiple projects, prioritizing, planning, and managing time - Can distill complex legal issues into clear, concise business guidance - A mix of law firm and in-house experience with exposure to workplace health & safety, product compliance, sustainability, or transport regulatory domains - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to be a trusted partner to business stakeholders - Genuine interest in developing expertise in product compliance, sustainability, and social responsibility domains Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
