【Class of 2028 & 2029／Internship】Software Development Engineers , Amazon International Stores

This position is for an 8–12 week full-time, on-site internship to be conducted in Summer 2027 (June–September 2027). *Minimum 12 weeks internship is required for all international hires (who require Basic qualifications: - Currently enrolled in Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Information Systems, or related STEM fields, with an expected graduation date of 2028 or 2029 - Able to participate in a full-time, on-site internship at our Tokyo office for 8–12 weeks during Summer 2027 (June–September) - Demonstrated experience with at least one general-purpose programming language such as Java, Python, C++, C#, Go, Rust, or TypeScript - Demonstrated experience one or more of the following: (1) Data structures implementation (2) Basic algorithm development (3) Object-oriented design principles Preferred: - Previous technical internship(s) or demonstrated project experience - Experience with one or more of the following: (1)AI tools for development productivity (2)Cloud platforms (preferably AWS) (3)Database systems (SQL and NoSQL)(4)Contributing to open-source projects (5)Version control systems (6)Debugging and troubleshooting complex systems - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly - Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
