Audit & Compliance Manager, Transportation Risk and Compliance (TRC)

Amazon’s Transportation Risk & Compliance (TRC) team identifies and mitigates risk in a rapidly growing and complex, global environment. To support the business, our primary mission is to perform independent Basic qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) - 3+ years of experience in auditing, risk management, compliance, program management, or quality management systems - 3+ years of program or project management experience - Experience establishing successful partnerships with internal and external teams to execute tactical initiatives or equivalent - Experience of interacting regularly and directly with senior executives. - Ability to independently manage a project and demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations - Ability to turn complex compliance requirements into scalable processes Preferred: - Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials - Experience with SQL and Excel - Knowledge of retail food code and regulations governing grocery retail at local, state, and federal levels - Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients, or experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field - Knowledge of payroll and the modern awards system, and third-party risk management - Experience working in the operations, transportation, and logistics sectors.
