Associate Corporate Counsel, AWS Legal

Amazon's Legal Department is looking for a talented attorney to support Amazon Web Services (AWS). AWS is at the forefront of the cloud computing industry, providing IT infrastructure services such as Basic qualifications: - Experience in transactional work, including drafting and negotiating commercial contracts or equivalent - Law degree from a reputable university or college. - Admitted to practice law with 2 - 6 years of post-admission legal experience. - Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to summarize complex issues and ideas clearly and concisely. - Efficient organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlines using pragmatic judgment. - Ability to work independently and proactively, while also collaborating effectively with other legal team members and global business teams. - Creative analytical skills. Preferred: - In-house experience at a technology company or in a private practice technology group. - Familiarity with IT infrastructure, outsourcing, telecommunications, cloud computing, AI/ML, or consulting contracts - Knowledge of ASEAN laws and regulations and experience working with public policy stakeholders. - Experience working across multiple APJ jurisdictions - Working knowledge and capability in other ASEAN country languages (e.g. Vietnamese, Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Melayu, Thai or Tagalog) preferred but not required.
