APAC Trade Compliance, Sr PM, Amazon Leo- Global Trade & Compliance

Amazon’s Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite broadband network mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, Basic qualifications: - Experience using English communication skills, both written and verbal, to foster seamless interaction with stakeholders at all levels - Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, International Business, Logistics, or related field - 7+ years of experience in managing global trade compliance, import export controls for highly sensitive technology. - 5+ years of experience managing relationships with customs brokers, managing regular customs processes for import and export with support from customs brokers or similar third-party service providers. - Deep knowledge of customs regulations and practices in APAC countries including HTS classification, customs valuation and rules of origin. - Experience managing partner government agency requirements for the import of telecommunication technology and equipment. - Knowledge of export control regulations such as ITAR, FTR, EAR and similar regulations across APAC countries. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements Preferred: - Master's degree in related field or professional certification (e.g., Certified Customs Specialist) - Experience managing customs compliance operations in aerospace, semiconductor or telecommunications industries. - Proficiency in Chinese/ Mandarin or other regional languages.
