Account Executive, Federal, Worldwide Public Sector

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Account Executive to drive growth and deepen customer relationships within the Australia and New Zealand (ANZ) Public Sector. This role is responsible for supporting Basic qualifications: - Experience creating and implementing long-term transformational account strategies in a customer-facing role or equivalent - Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Experience with end-customer sales in the cloud or software industry and a successful track record with consulting or technology partners through account management, program management, and business development - Experience developing, negotiating and executing business agreements with Federal Government or equivalent Preferred: - Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS or equivalent - Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS, or experience with project management - Knowledge of key technology and market trends impacting federal government, including sovereign AI, zero trust, and multi-domain operations Acknowledgement of country: In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
