Transition Project Management Coordinator Location: Bangalore, India Function: Operations Department: Transition Level: Coordinator / Associate Project Management About the Role Cigna Healthcare is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transition Project Management Coordinator to support the successful execution of business process transitions, operational migrations, and transformation initiatives. This role will partner with Transition Managers, Operations Leaders, Training, Quality, HR, IT, and Compliance teams to coordinate project activities, maintain governance structures, track deliverables, and ensure seamless transition execution from planning through stabilization. The ideal candidate will possess strong project coordination capabilities, excellent stakeholder communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Planning Support end-to-end transition and migration projects from initiation through go-live and stabilization. Coordinate project plans, milestones, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables across multiple workstreams. Maintain project schedules, action trackers, RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, and Dependencies) logs, and status reports. Track project progress against established timelines and escalate risks or delays appropriately. Governance & Reporting Organize governance meetings, steering committees, project reviews, and stakeholder forums. Prepare meeting agendas, minutes, action logs, and follow-up communications. Develop dashboards and project reporting packs for leadership review. Ensure timely closure of action items and maintenance of project documentation. Transition Execution Support Coordinate knowledge transfer (KT), training, shadowing, reverse-shadowing, and operational readiness activities. Track completion of transition tollgates, sign-offs, and readiness assessments. Partner with operations leaders to monitor ramp-up, productivity, quality, and stabilization activities. Support cutover planning and post-go-live hypercare tracking. Cross-Functional Stakeholder Management Act as a central coordination point between Operations, HR, Training, Workforce Management, IT, Quality, Compliance, and external stakeholders. Facilitate communication across teams to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines. Escalate issues proactively and facilitate resolution with relevant stakeholders. Risk & Compliance Management Maintain project risk registers and mitigation plans. Support compliance with internal governance, regulatory, and operational requirements. Ensure appropriate documentation, approvals, audit trails, and process controls are maintained throughout project execution. Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve transition methodologies, reporting, governance, and project management practices. Support post-implementation reviews and lessons-learned sessions. Assist in standardizing templates, trackers, and best practices across projects. Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Project Management, Engineering, Healthcare Management, or related field. Experience 2 to 5 years of experience in: Project Coordination PMO Support Business Process Transitions Operations Excellence Shared Services / BPO / Healthcare Operations Preferred Experience Healthcare operations environment. Global delivery or shared services organizations. Transition, migration, outsourcing, or transformation programs.
