Supply Chain & Proximity Manager - Third Party Managed Vessels

Key responsibilities Own the end-to-end demand-to-delivery process for an allocated portfolio of third-party vessel-managed vessels. Ensure compliance with procurement category strategies while addressing vessel-owner and operational requirements. Manage RFQs with non-contracted suppliers to secure competitive offers and reliable delivery outcomes. Optimise vessel-budget utilisation and follow the Procure-to-Pay process, resolving invoice discrepancies and supporting timely vendor payments. Coordinate timely preparation and release of dry-dock orders with the technical organisation. Drive and monitor daily operational performance, using data to identify service, cost and process-improvement opportunities. Partner with master-data and system teams to improve data quality, tool adoption, process compliance and reporting output. Build effective relationships with vessels, superintendents, technical teams and suppliers, responding quickly to urgent or complex requirements. Lead assigned category and supply-chain excellence initiatives, and represent the team in key strategic forums. Challenge existing ways of working by proposing sourcing alternatives, supplier options and pricing feedback that improve coverage, cost and delivery reliability. What We’re Looking For More than 4 years of experience in procurement, supply chain or sourcing. Proven track record in planning and supply chain management within an international matrix organization. Experience in the maritime industry will be considered an advantage. Self-driven team player with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, able to build rapport at all levels. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize under ambitious timelines. Comfortable handling risks, uncertainties, and changing priorities.
