Sr Planner, Conferences Executive Speaker Management

The Senior Conference Planner for Speaker Sourcing and Management is a critical role which supports the onboarding and logistical coordination for our invited guest keynotes and case study speakers at Gartner Conferences. This role is integral to the operational efficiency and effectiveness of the Gartner Speaker and Sourcing Management team. This role will report into the Sr. Manager, External Speaker Management who will oversee executive speaker sourcing strategy. What you will do: Own the coordination and pre-conference preparation for all executive speakers including ensuring speaker meets all legal requirements, collecting marketing materials and slideware. Systems, database, and spreadsheet management Effectively communicate speaker permissions and expectations with internal teams such as content, housing, registration, and program management. Ensure deadlines are met by both speaker and internal teams Screen submissions for potential speakers Host guest speakers and manage an exceptional onsite experience Proactively handle and troubleshoot emerging problems throughout the planning cycle and onsite experience Assist with strategic projects to help shape the operations of the organization What you will need: Bachelor’s degree preferred 2-3 years professional work experience High sense of urgency and ability to prioritize Excellent customer service and communication skills Exceptional attention to detail Proactive problem-solving skills Proven ability to master new systems and tool s Outstanding written and verbal communications skill s #LI-BO2 #LI-hybrid Who are we? Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.
